San Francisco, CA. Family Photos in Golden Gate Park

One of my long time families is back and my heart is always so full whenever I get to see the latest jump in little O’s growth. He is the sweetest and most chill baby and honestly has been since I met him when he was just 3 days old.

His mom and dad were looking for an outdoor photo session this time around and since we are all SF locals, we thought this beautiful pond in Golden Gate Park would be perfect. This lake is such a great location because it feels remote in photos, is so super beautiful but is flat, accessible and steps away from plentiful, free parking. Also, if you have extra time before or after a session, you are right in Golden Gate Park and can plan another excursion if that fits in your timeline.

Even though we did get some classic SF fog instead of a sunny golden hour, my SF clients are always the most chill and understanding since we know this is real Bay Area life. Karl, The Fog rules all and I really appreciate the classic soft box look that the fog affords.
