Legion of Honor & Lands End. Maternity Session
Is there a more romantic or beautiful season of life other than pregnancy? For me, no. That’s the one. There is so much joy, so much hope, so much wonder in the small life inside our bodies. I used to think it was corny to hear that babies are a miracle but I’ve changed and have come to truly believe this.
Josie and Steven embodied this peaceful, fluttery and fleeting season of life to a T.
We decided to divide up our shoot over 2 separate days - mostly to get two very different vibes and feelings. The first day we started at the Legion of Honor. It has a more urban and refined feel that typically resonates with people who love the city but also want a touch of regal architecture. We, of course, included their dod Chocolat and I just loved him and you could see how loved he is by his parents. (Yes, always bring your doggies to our shoots!)
After the Legion of Honor, we headed to Lands End to find a thick layer of fog covered the wooden cliffs. The fog was breathtaking and my heart smiles when I find out that my clients love the fog too. Don’t get me wrong, I love a golden hour sun soaked session but fog just drips in romantic mystery and I’m here for it!
