San Francisco, CA. In-Home Newborn Shoot

Baby Beau was just 7 days old when I got to meet him and his parents in their beautiful SF condo. I love in home newborn sessions because there is literally ZERO pressure. You have everything you need for your newborn at your fingertips and also for yourself - ie: water and snacks. If there is one thing a new mom needs is snacks. New mommas don’t get any sleep so the second best thing is fooood.

Beau was such a perfect little model. We did some some sleepy shots with Dad, had a milk break and then did some really lovely family shots in their beautiful bedroom.

Having the comfort and relaxation of your home gives me the opportunity to get such simple, sweet and pure moments of the fleeting newborn stage. It also allows multitasking (something ALL parents do without thought) and I’m able to have private moments with each parent and baby.

Home shoots are the absolute most simple and safest way to go for newborn shoots. I’m going to create a blog post on how to prepare for your upcoming newborn at home shoot so stay tuned!
